Do you have the luxury of time?

I get quite worried when people want to jump straight into trading for a living without any prior experience in the Forex market. First of all, let’s face the fact that newcomers are almost guaranteed to lose their money with zilch experience and skills. This brings us to the money issue: You must have enough reserves to last you for at least 1 year or more without any potential income, while you learn how to trade full-time. My advice is that aspiring traders stick to their day job (especially if they have to support their families), and learn how to trade part-time first.

But this is a very tricky thing, because a lot of time will be required to learn and gain experience from the currency market.
