(RTTNews) - A report from the Statistics Finland showed that producer prices for manufactured products rose 3.6% year-on-year in April. Month-on-month, producer prices were up 0.7%.
The statistical office said that producer prices were pushed up by increased prices of oil products from the previous year. However, the increase was curbed by decreases in the prices of nickel and electrical products.
Export prices grew 2.1% year-on-year and import prices rose 4.2%. The basic price index for domestic supply went up 5%. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index climbed 4.5%.
