Singapore’s Non-oil Domestic Exports recover in April

(RTTNews) - Singapore’s seasonally adjusted non-oil domestic exports, or NODX, rose 1.6% month-on-month in April, reversing March’s 2.6% decline, the International Enterprise Singapore reported Friday. On a year-on-year basis, NODX gained 5.4%, recovering from a 5.9% fall in the previous month, thanks to the increase in non-electronic NODX. On a 3-month moving average year-on-year basis, NODX grew 1.4%. In March, it was up 0.6%.

Meanwhile, non-oil re-exports, or NORX, increased 9.2% year-on-year in April versus 1.1% decline in March on increases in both electronic and non-electronic NORX.
