UK’s Services Output Increases During 3-month To May

(RTTNews) - UK’s services output increased 0.4% in the three months to May compared with the three months to February, the Office for National Statistics reported Friday. The figure came in line with expectations.
The statistical office noted the headline rate of growth of services has remained below 0.5% for the fourth straight month in May. The ONS added that this is the first time this has happened since the start of the series in 1995.
Between April and May, services output decreased 0.1%. The most significant decrease was observed in government and other services.
